Take the OCC bracket and loosely mount it to the OCC and intake manifold threaded tab. If you have an aftermarket intercooler piping, refer to the manufacture’s instructions for removing/installing the tube leading to the throttle body. Install the intercooler tubing to the throttle body(remove any a towels or rags placed in the tube prior). Re-secure the wiring to the wire clip on the throttle body itself. Bolt the manifold to the head, and tighten the bolts to 150-175in/lbs or 12-15ft/lbs.Ĭonnect the throttle body wiring connector back into place, by sliding the connector fully on, and pressing the red clip. Mount the manifold to the head, ensuring all manifold gaskets are fully seated in place in the manifold. Clean any debris on the mating surfaces with a wet rag. Slide the connector, removed earlier, back onto the retainer on the manifoldĬarefully inspect the gaskets on the intake manifold and mating surfaces. Now with the 90 degree connector, coming from the check valve hose, insert the connector into the intake manifold port. When inserting the hose into the connector, you’ll hear a satisfying “click” ensuring that the connectors have mated properly. Begin with the straight connector this will go into the PCV hose connector that was re-aimed earlier. It is time to connect them into the corresponding PCV connections. Rotate the PCV valve, hose, and connector within the hose, into the orientation shown here, where the connector port is facing where the OCC will be mounted. Squeeze the connector on both sides, and pull back away from the manifold to disconnect it. This will give you enough access to install the OCC lines.ĭisconnect the PCV hose from the intake manifold. With the manifold un-bolted, put it away from the head as shown. Slide the connector from its retainer on the manifold(red arrow) Pull the manifold slightly away from the engine, to better access this connector. Un-clip the EVAP line from the intake manifold(blue arrows), and remove the 5 10mm bolts securing the intake manifold to the head. Next the battery cover and disconnect both the negative and positive battery leads from the terminals, and secure the wires from contacting the battery terminals.
